About Sharry Wallach
Sharry Wallach specializes in the evaluation, comprehensive postsurgical rehabilitation and treatment of acute and chronic nonsurgical conditions affecting the hand, wrist and elbow and upper extremities. Skilled in manual therapy, static and dynamic splint fabrication, ROM and strength training, and wound and scar management, her commitment to patient satisfaction is demonstrated by a combination of high quality clinical care, positive patient interaction and patient education.
Sharry collaborates closely with hand surgeons on a case by case basis to ensure the best possible treatment. With her extensive training, Sharry employs a dynamic, problem-solving approach to patient care.
Sharry received a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University. Following graduation, she obtained extensive clinical experience in both hospital and private practice settings. Striving to stay current on treatment techniques and new research, Sharry often attends continuing education conferences. She is also a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
In her spare time, Sharry enjoys staying active by hiking, biking, dancing and practicing yoga.
