About Denzel Williams
Denzel Williams is a physical therapist who was born and raised in Brooklyn. He believes in utilizing scientific research and appropriate biomechanics with exercises to create treatment plans based on the patient’s individual goals. He received his B.S. from Xavier University of Louisiana where he studied Biology, and M.S. in Exercise Science from LIU Brooklyn where he graduated with honors. He then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Southern California.
Denzel grew up playing basketball and playing other sports recreationally which piqued his interest in treating sports injuries. He has experience working at orthopedic and sports medicine clinics where he helped collegiate and professional athletes. In addition, he worked at a neurological clinic where he treated patients suffering from spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, and Guillain-Barré syndrome. His on-site clinical experience allows him to utilize appropriate manual skills and therapeutic exercises to help patients return to their desired level of function.
In his spare time, Denzel enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, working out, playing basketball, attending concerts, and going out to eat.
