About David Anderson

David Anderson received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Olaf College in 2010 and his doctorate in physical therapy from Saint Catherine University in 2013. He became interested in physical
therapy at a young age after a number of sports injuries resulted in positive physical therapy experiences. Realizing how helpful it can be in helping patients reach their goals and return to their favorite activities, he was motivated to pursue a career in physical therapy. He believes that an individualized, patient centered approach is essential to quality care. Educating the patient and empowering them to take control of their treatment plan are an important part of this patient centered care. David uses a variety of manual therapy techniques including different types of soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization and manipulation, corrective and home exercises to address key components of flexibility, mobility and stability to fully address each patient’s individual needs. He has a focus on spine care but also treats a variety of extremity and other conditions. David has been an avid runner and soccer player his entire life and continues to enjoy these activities regularly. He also enjoys cycling, traveling and spending time with his family.
