About Alicia Costanza
Alicia Costanza is a native Californian practicing as a physical therapist at Optum in New York, NY since 2021. She believes in an individualized and evidence-based approach to care; working with each patient to create a treatment plan that is both realistic and achievable, promoting a prompt and long-lasting return to function.
Alicia received her B.S. from University of California, Los Angeles where she majored in Physiological Science, minored in Theater, and graduated summa cum laude. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University with a focus in adult orthopedics and was honored with the Faculty Award for Excellence in Orthopedics.
As an athlete herself – soccer, softball, and basketball – Alicia has a passion for the rehabilitation of athletes, but loves treating patients of all backgrounds and activity levels. She enjoys working together with patients using manual therapy, exercise, and patient education to return them to pain-free life.
Outside of physical therapy, Alicia enjoys playing sports, reading, attending comedy shows and concerts, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
