  • Do you accept my insurance plan?

    Orthology providers accept most major insurance plans. Please call your preferred practice at your convenience and they can assist you in verifying your benefits.

  • Do I need a referral?

    Typically a referral is not needed, but this can vary depending on your health insurance plan. Please give your preferred Orthology location a call and they will assist you in confirming the details of your coverage.

  • I am unable to find the physician referral I received. Do I need to bring it with me to get my health insurance to cover the services?

    Keep your appointment, but please give Orthology a call in advance so one of their Patient Relationship Coordinators can request a duplicate copy of your order for our records.

  • Can I use my HSA or Flex Spending for payment?

    Yes. Coverage is plan dependent. Orthology can provide you with a detailed receipt to submit to your insurance if it’s required.

  • Can I pay online?

    This option is currently available in Orthology’s Minneapolis area clinics. However, Orthology is still working towards making this option available to patients in the Long Island, New York City and Queens markets .

  • I received an incorrect Explanation of Benefits from Orthology/ProHEALTH. How do I get this fixed?

    We have recently partnered with ProHEALTH in an effort to improve our systems and processes. Some health plans do not yet recognize the partnership and, as a result, may have sent an incorrect correspondence regarding the status of your claim. We are actively working to resolve this issue.
