About Sapana Kanojia

Sapana Kanojia is a physical therapist who strongly believes it is important for individuals to be able to return to their desired functional and/or recreational lifestyle. To this end, her approach to physical therapy is tailored specifically to the unique goals of each patient. She strongly empowers injured patients through the promotion of exercise, wellness and other concepts designed to encourage them to live a more balanced life. Sapana has a focus on treating patients in academic settings and those involved in the arts. She offers effective solutions for individuals suffering from chronic neck and back pain resulting from long hours of sitting in front of the computer and/or carrying heavy backpacks. Her interest in treating injuries affecting artists, musicians and dancers has led to creative treatment options that address the musculoskeletal issues patients encounter due to their particular art form while also taking into account each patient’s specific goals. Sapana earned her Masters in Physical Therapy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and then recently returned to graduate school at NYU Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, where she earned a Masters in Public Administration in Health and Policy Management. Her commitment to serving the public with cutting-edge concepts implemented with an interdisciplinary approach has made it possible for Sapana to increase the continuum of care she offers. Sapana has taken several courses on manual therapy with a Canadian approach and was granted the opportunity to impart her knowledge as a Clinical Instructor to numerous PT students at New York University.
