About Ryan McKeough
Ryan McKeough was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and spent his formative years wrestling, running, and playing football and rugby. He won multiple wrestling titles before transitioning into coaching. Ryan graduated with honors from Acadia University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He went on to earn a master’s degree in physiotherapy from the University of Canberra. Ryan believes that understanding each patient’s unique experiences and personal story is critical to the recovery process. A competitive athlete himself, his own injury made him realize the profound and positive impact of physical therapy. His approach focuses on manual therapy techniques combined with exercise prescription and corrective strategies, like Kinesio taping and biofeedback devices, to achieve goal-oriented results. Ryan has treated elite martial artists, triathletes, and Olympic swimmers. He has also worked with Australian Rules Football and Rugby Union clubs. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym and playing the guitar.
