About Felicia Vernaskas
Felicia has over 20 years of experience as a physical therapist, graduating from the State University at Stony Brook with her license in Physical Therapy in 1999. She has been a dedicated member of the Orthology staff since the beginning of 2018, serving the local community with her background in treating orthopedic and neurologic conditions in patients of all ages. Enhanced by her graduate degree in psychology, Felicia strives to create a supportive environment for her patients, in which their individual needs are addressed to restore optimal function. She believes strongly in a proactive approach to patient care.
‘I believe that serving my patients includes providing the best care for their recovery, a proactive atmosphere so they are encouraged to take an active role in the process, and creating a partnership so individual goals are met and patients leave us with the ability and confidence to achieve a healthier lifestyle.’
Outside of the physical therapy environment, Felicia’s dedication to serving her community is evident by her volunteer efforts, which include working with a local nonprofit organization. Felicia has a love for the outdoors, enjoys gardening, yoga, and a variety of sports.
