About Courtney Burnett
Courtney’s philosophy of patient care is based on compassion, efficacy, and teamwork. She focuses on giving patients the highest quality of care while guaranteeing their participation in managing their medical condition. She provides holistic and evidence-based care that is respectful of the concerns, values, and aspirations of her patients. Dr. Burnett grew up in New Jersey, where she was involved with competitive sports such as soccer, swimming, basketball, and softball. She later moved to Maryland to pursue a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from Loyola University. She then went on to earn a doctorate in physical therapy from Columbia University. While at Columbia, she participated in research studies that analyzed injury risk in Division I soccer players and performance on functional movement screens. Dr. Burnett has extensive clinical experience, having worked with patients with physical movement challenges to collegiate athletes. She looks forward to working with all kinds of individuals from professionals to those who are completely new to fitness. She also has a strong interest in treating individuals that have post-operative conditions. She enjoys cooking, playing soccer, and spending time with friends and family on the Jersey shore.
