We had been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. 4. Wheat Germ

The perfect addition to yogurt, smoothies, oatmeal, or pancakes, wheat germ offers a nutrient boost that will help you get through the morning on the top of your game. Two tablespoons of wheat germ offers 15 percent of the daily recommended vitamin E and 10 percent of daily folate.

5. Bananas

Bananas are perfect for the busy morning person who needs a simple, nutritious meal. Bananas offer a high dose of resistant starch, a form of healthy carbohydrate that keeps you full without feeling bloated or weighed down. Additionally, bananas offer a high level of potassium, which lowers blood sugars and can help alleviate stomach-related issues.
