Important Update
Orthology Appointments and Online Booking

As we respond and adapt to COVID-19, we at Orthology continue to prioritize the safety and health of our patients, staff and the communities we serve.

Given the increasing degree of community spread in the United States, the following Orthology clinics in Minnesota are open on a limited basis for patients in need of physical therapy and chiropractic care. We continue to evaluate the possibility of re-opening Orthology clinics in New York and Long Island, and will communicate that information here.

For patients for whom in-clinic appointments are not an option, we are pleased to offer an array of virtual care options to help you connect with Orthology providers.

Who qualifies as a patient in need of in-clinic appointments?

The delivery of in-clinic care is intended for both new and existing patients who are post-operative, do work deemed to be essential (grocery store worker, hospital worker, medical courier, etc.) and cannot work because of musculoskeletal pain or dysfunction, or patients whose plan of care will be significantly impacted by delays.

We will not treat any patients who fail our COVID-19 screening questions. It will be at the discretion of the clinician to determine if any patient who is immunocompromised, has a known heart or lung disease, has been diagnosed with diabetes (both Type I and Type II), or is taking certain medications such as Enbrel, Humira, or anti-rejection or chemotherapy medication should be treated, as they are at an elevated risk.

What is Orthology doing to keep patients with in-clinic appointments safe?

Before your appointment, your history of care will be carefully reviewed so that your clinician is prepared to provide the level of care you are accustomed to. All patients and clinicians will be screened for symptoms consistent with COVID-19 before entering the clinic. Only patients being treated and the clinicians treating them will be permitted to enter any clinic area, and both patients and staff will be required to follow procedures that limit cross-contamination, which will be provided to you ahead of your appointment.

Before your appointment, you will also be asked to sign an attestation that, even with every precaution, the risk of COVID-19 transmission remains.

If at any point following your treatment at Orthology you test positive for COVID-19, please call the Orthology team at (952) 594-6088 immediately.

What virtual care options are available to me?

Both new and existing patients can connect with a provider via live face-to-face video conferencing, phone, email, chat or SMS to discuss your condition, get answers to your care questions and create a plan of care to keep you moving. We’ll send you all of the information you’ll need to access our technology. You’ll just need a Wifi connection and a laptop or smartphone.
